U.S. Senator Bob Corker will hold a town hall meeting in Polk County on Thursday, November 12 at Hardee’s on Hwy. 411 in Ocoee, beginning at 5 p.m.

U.S. Senator Bob Corker will hold a town hall meeting in Polk County on Thursday, November 12 at Hardee’s on Hwy. 411 in Ocoee, beginning at 5 p.m.

  The event is open to the public, and citizens are welcome to purchase food “Dutch treat” as Corker provides an update on his work in Washington and takes questions from diners. The meeting will mark Corker’s 67th county visit and 38th town hall for the year.

Bob Corker was elected to the United States Senate in 2006. He is a member of the Banking, Energy, and Foreign Relations committees and ranking member of the Special Committee on Aging. Corker grew up in Chattanooga and graduated from the University of Tennessee. He was a successful businessman before serving as Tennessee’s commissioner of finance and as mayor of Chattanooga.
